CHOCOLATE IS CHOCOLATE… LOVE IS LOVE…

The last day of our summer term was full of emotions. We were nervous about the last two exams; some were confident but most were not. After the exams, you could hear disappointment or happiness. Then we started thinking about the results and all of our faces were painted with anxiety. Then there was this list of incomplete-of-requirement students which made those who were on the list sad, angry and depress. We had an “alcohol party” scheduled that day after the exam at Jessica’s place but then some friends were starting to back out, maybe they felt laziness or whatever. It made me angry and very disappointed because I was one of the planners of the said party. I was really looking forward for the party and I imagined it would be very fun for all of us. I was disappointed again because what actually happened wasn’t what I imagine it would be. But no, I’m not saying the party was lousy and wasn’t fun. Haha! Of course it was fun!!! I wasn’t drunk after a no-skipping-of-drinks night. There was the music, Von and Carlo’s guitar performance, the chats, the laughs and all the fun you could imagine. We were celebrating for the end of the finals and the opening of our term break. We had a group-hug, we all stood up, danced, sung and lip-“singed” with the music, and we toasted not with drinks but with cigars. Haha! It was really hell of fun!

I analyzed everything that happened and I figured the emotions we had that day was life. You see, you think life is so bad with all the anger, sadness, disappointments and anxiety it gives you but in the end you will be granted with the happiness you deserve, just make sure you don’t lose yourself. I got a quote from One Tree Hill but I can’t remember who said this, “You get your hear broken or your life broken, but you should still fight like hell to win yourself.” And most of the time you we expect something to happen and we get disappointed and hurt because we did not get what we wanted. “You may have not gotten the Cadbury you wanted but you were given a Toblerone to satisfy your crave. Not that bad!”

PS:      Why chocolate? Because they said that the brain hormones that are produced when we eat chocolate is the same with the brain hormones produces when we love people. They have something in common: HAPPINNESS.
